Yuyin Du was born in Tokyo (Japan) in 1998 and grew up in Hangzhou (China). She received her bachelor’s degree in advanced molecular chemistry from Tohoku University (Japan) in September 2021. Under the supervision of Professor Shin Mizukami from 2020-2021, she worked in the field of fluorescence imaging by investigating the labile Zn2+ in acidic compartments using small molecular fluorescent probes. 

 

Yuyin joined the Nitschke group in 2022 as a PhD student. In her free time, Yuyin enjoys cooking and visiting cafe.
