James Dobson
James graduated with a first-class degree in chemistry from the University of Warwick in 2022, where he also worked on new cage-catalysed reactions under the supervision of Professor Michael Ward. He is now pursuing his MPhil degree in the Nitschke group, further developing his understanding of supramolecular cage chemistry with a particular focus on woven capsules and other complex molecular architectures. He was awarded a full Trinity Hall Postgraduate Studentship to fund his studies, in conjunction with an award from the Yusuf Hamied Department of Chemistry. Outside the lab he enjoys cycling and watching Formula 1.
