Nando recently graduated with honors from the University of Barcelona, where he earned his degree in chemistry. Through the Europe-Colorado Mobility Programme, he joined the Goodwin Research Group at the University of Colorado Boulder for his final semester, working on a project focused on developing thermo-responsive and cross-linkable Hydroxypropyl Cellulose Acrylate microgels.

Currently, Nando is pursuing an MPhil in chemistry in the Nitschke group, where he is deepening his knowledge in supramolecular cage chemistry, and contributing to the group's research. His studies are fully funded by a fellowship from the "la Caixa" Foundation. In addition to coordination chemistry, his research interests include nanoscience, nanotechnology, and quantum chemistry.

In his free time, Nando enjoys playing football with the St Edmund's College team, reading fantasy novels, and watching TV series.
