Kecheng Jie


Kecheng Jie was born in Hangzhou, China in 1989. After obtaining his B.S. degree from Zhejiang University in 2012, he became a Ph.D. student in Prof. Feihe Huang’s group at the same university. His doctoral research is mainly focused on pillararene-based supramolecular chemistry and crystalline solids. From October 2015 to April 2016, he was a visiting Ph.D. student in Prof. Andew I. Cooper’s group at the University of Liverpool, working on pillararene crystals as separation materials. In June 2017, he obtained his Ph.D. degree and won an outstanding Ph.D. dissertation award from both Zhejiang University and Zhejiang Province. From August 2017 to September 2019, he was a postdoctoral research associate working in Prof. Sheng Dai’s group at the University of Tennessee and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. In October 2019, He began to work as a Marie Curie Fellow in Prof. Jonathan Nitschke’s group at the University of Cambridge.
