Jason Deacon

Jason was born in Accrington where he developed love for The Accrington Pals and the strongest bricks in the world. Moving to Manchester to complete an MChem that specialised in Computational Chemistry under Dr. Lindsey Munro, soon realising the potential for electron transfer in materials.
Moving to Cambridge to take part in the Graphene Technology CDT, where he currently undertakes projects that combine the beauty of 3D nano-architectures with disruptive 2D crystals under Prof. Jonathan Nitschke and the Cambridge Graphene Centre.
