Yuchong Yang


Yuchong Yang was born in Beijing (China) in 1992. After obtaining his B.S. degree from Sichuan University in 2015, he became a Ph.D. student in Prof. Xi Zhang’s group at Tsinghua university. His doctoral research is mainly focused on cucurbituril-based functional supramolecular systems, including the construction of novel supramolecular polymers, the development of antibacterial supramolecular architectures and the fabrication of cucurbituril-based supramolecular radical system. After graduated from Tsinghua University, in November 2020, he began to work as a postdoctoral researcher in Prof. Jonathan Nitschke’s group at the University of Cambridge.
